E-Learning: Design Opportunities at Home Part 1

Ideation

1. when you borrow a shape, you have to use it multiple times at different angles, positions, size and when merged, the design of the finish product is a completely new design but it used the basic shapes to create it.Therefore, shape borrowing technique can create multiple designs.

2. Scamper stands for substitute, combine, modify, put to other use, eliminate or reverse. So Scamper helps to make a new design substitute the material needed to use to make the product, combine new ideas together, adapt the object to be used for the targeted audience, modify the object (just like the adapt), make the object to be put to other use so it has multi-purpose, eliminate unnecessary objects or functions or reverse the whole idea so that it become a new design.

In this imgage, there are more than 3 sketches because i tried to draw but a few of them turned up pretty disastrous so i drew 5 sketches instead.

what i think of ADMT

Top half of paper, Old man cannot reach shelves and there is a problem but with admt, the old man could easily reach it with his walking stick grabber.

Bottom half of paper, boy dripped hot water on self. With ADMT, boy could safely pour hot water in cup without spilling
